A student from Glasgow Caledonian University has designed a new range of Scottish based emojis which were launched yesterday.
Kayleigh Dempster, a second year Digital Design (Graphics) student was approached by Fanmoji Ltd to develop the emojis, which feature a range of Scots inspired emojis.
The stickers include a range of Scottish phrases and the saltire, as well as a range of tartan inspired designs and a homage to Robert Burns.
Kayleigh told Caley Courier: “They were very keen to have a Scottish designer/illustrator to create the final emoji stickers.”
“The response so far has been amazing, it’s been fantastic seeing my friends using them and getting excited about them!”
The people of Scotland have taken to Twitter to voice their excitement at the stickers.
